Protesters hold signs and Albanian national flags as they take part in a demonstration in front of the Government building in Tirana on June 27, 2026, demanding the resignation of PM Edi Rama. Several thousand citizens demonstrated in Tirana for the 28th consecutive night to demand transparency on a luxury tourism complex project in the protected area of Narta Lagoon in Zvernec near the city of Vlore linked to US President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and his wife, Ivanka Trump. The project was planned for two areas along the Adriatic coast: the protected delta area of Vjosa-Narta and the nearby uninhabited island of Sazan.
