Former head of the Albanian State Intelligence Service, Vlora Hyseni (SHISH) enters the Special Court against Corruption and Organised Crime in Tirana, Albania, on September 24, 2026. Albania's state intelligence chief turned herself in on September 22 after the country's corruption prosecutors issued an arrest warrant for her in a graft probe also involving a senior police figure. The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organised Crime (SPAK) said in a statement earlier that it had ordered the suspension of the State Intelligence Service director, Vlora Hyseni, and that she be placed under house arrest on suspicion of leaking classified information.
