Protesters destroy chairs set up by the PM's office for a proposed "dialogue" with students outside government headquarters after several days of anti-government protests turned violent in Tirana, Albania, on October 21, 2026. Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama blamed a "hybrid war" for fuelling unrest in his country, after more than a week of violent anti-government demonstrations demanding better university conditions, anger over corruption and renewed calls for the Prime Minister's resignation.
